Since 1967, Machine Specialties has been a third-generation, family-owned CNC machine shop in Fort Worth, Texas. We specialize in precision turning, milling, and mill-turn machining for industries that demand accuracy and speed.

For over 50 years, we’ve built our reputation on quality, reliability, and lasting partnerships. Our motto says it best:

“Let us machine your vision into reality.”

Jeff Kinnear

Hello, my name is Jeff Kinnear, and I am the president of Machine Specialties.

I began machining in the summer of 2004. Although at the time I didn’t realize it, I had started a passion that’s lasted years. We have evolved quite a bit during my time here, going from a largely manual shop to a fully CNC shop. This, as well as other advancements in manufacturing, has helped to keep me passionate and driven to help machine your vision into reality.

When I’m not working on a quote or print, I enjoy my time with my son and anything outdoors.

Kristin Harris

Hello, my name is Kristin Harris, and I’m the Vice President of Operations at Machine Specialties. I’m proud to be a part of the third generation of our family-owned machine shop.

When I first joined the business, my role was simple—I made deliveries. At the time, I saw it as a temporary steppingstone while I searched for something else. But I never stopped coming back, and I never looked for another job.

It didn’t take long to realize I was part of something special: a dedicated team, meaningful relationships with our customers and suppliers, and a business built on trust and craftsmanship. From that point on, the rest is history.

Outside the shop, you’ll find me with my husband and our two sons—usually in the middle of some kind of chaos.

Ruben Torres

Hello, my name is Ruben Torres. I’ve been immersed in the manufacturing industry since 2008, and it’s been more than just a career, it’s my passion.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside talented teams, solving complex challenges, and watching ideas turn into precision-crafted realities.

Today, I’m proud to lead Machine Specialties Manufacturing into its next chapter, building on our legacy while driving innovation, efficiency, and growth for the future.
